Creamy Chile Garlic Sauce

Delicious as a dipping sauce for just about anything from chicken fingers, calamari, vegetables, to sweet potato fries. Makes an amazing spread for sandwiches or burgers — it transforms a simple grilled cheese or a classic breakfast sandwich into something truly special. A great way to make the flavors of the chile garlic sauce meld with creamy dishes, or to mellow out its bold flavors.

Simply put, this is just equal parts mayonnaise and fresh chile garlic sauce, so it is easy to scale up or down to suit your needs. If you do not have homemade fresh chile garlic sauce, store-bought chili garlic sauce may be used in place of homemade.

Makes 1/4 cup.

2 tablespoons mayonnaise2 tablespoons fresh chile garlic sauce Place ingredients in a small bowl and mix thoroughly with a spoon or whisk until fully combined (no white or wet streaks should remain).

Try this Creamy Chile Garlic Sauce (a.k.a. Revel Kitchen special sauce) on my spicy twist on classic grilled cheese, Chile Garlic Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
